First-launch instructions

  1. Sign in to your Vardra account before downloading a release package.
  2. On first launch, create your vault and save the one-time Emergency Kit before entering the vault.
  3. Store the Secret Key and recovery phrase separately; Vardra cannot recover the vault without them.

Command-line setup

  1. Install and unlock the Vardra desktop app first.
  2. Install the signed command-line bundle when it is available.
  3. Approve command-line access from the local vault before running automated workflows.
